Amending O. Reg. 288/01

(Termination and Severance of Employment)

1. Paragraph 10 of subsection 2 (1) of Ontario Regulation 288/01 is revoked and the following substituted:

10. An employee who is employed to provide professional services, personal support services or homemaking services as defined in the Long-Term Care Act, 1994 for an employer who has a contract to provide those services with a community care access corporation within the meaning of the Community Care Access Corporations Act, 2001, if the employee’s arrangement with the employer allows the employee to elect to work or not to work when requested to do so by the employer.

2. Clause 4 (1) (c) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

(c) served on the employee in accordance with section 95 of the Act.

3. Paragraph 9 of subsection 9 (1) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

9. 4. Paragraph 10 of subsection 2 (1) of the Regulation, as remade by section 1 of this Regulation, is revoked on October 1, 2012.

5. Paragraph 9 of subsection 9 (1) of the Regulation, as remade by section 3 of this Regulation, is revoked on October 1, 2012.

6. This Regulation comes into force on November 6, 2009.
