Amending O. Reg. 444/98
(Disposition of Surplus Real Property)
1. (1) Paragraph 2 of subsection 8 (3) of Ontario Regulation 444/98 is amended by striking out “9.29” and substituting “9.7”.
(2) Paragraph 3 of subsection 8 (3) of the Regulation is revoked.
(3) Paragraph 4 of subsection 8 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “On and after September 1, 2005” in the portion before subparagraph i and substituting “Until August 31, 2010”.
(4) Subsection 8 (3) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
5. On and after September 1, 2010, multiply the product obtained under paragraph 2 by,
i. $1,776.47 per square metre, in the case of a proposal for sale, or
ii. $120.77 per square metre, in the case of a proposal for lease.
(5) Paragraph 3 of subsection 8 (4) of the Regulation is revoked.
(6) Paragraph 4 of subsection 8 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “On and after September 1, 2005” in the portion before subparagraph i and substituting “Until August 31, 2010”.
(7) Subsection 8 (4) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
5. On and after September 1, 2010, multiply the product obtained under paragraph 2 by,
i. $1,937.98 per square metre, in the case of a proposal for sale, or
ii. $131.75 per square metre, in the case of a proposal for lease.
2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
